Nicola Holmes

Managing Director

Nicola Holmes joined Wetton Cleaning Services in 1991. She worked in various operational roles looking after both Local Authority contracts and Office Cleaning contracts located in the City of London.

Nicola was appointed Managing Director in 1998 and her main responsibility is to ensure the cleaning standards produced by Wettons Staff and management is achieved and maintained. Her daily site visits and client meetings ensure both the smooth operation and the continued success and growth of the company.

Justin Baker (FCCA)

Operation Director

Justin Baker F.C.C.A is a fully qualified Accountant.

He worked for 2 blue chip companies in Coopers and Lybrand for 6 years before joining Merrill Lynch where he remained for 2 years.

Wettons were fortunate to persuade Justin to join the company in 1999. He has been very influential in the running of operations from both the implementation of new contracts to the retention of existing clients.

Karen Baker

Contract Director

Karen Baker has worked within the company since 1996. Karen now looks after our portfolio of clients located in the South and along the coast. Karen is located in our Regional office which has recently moved to larger premises in Shorham. Her daily contact with clients and regular walk rounds with clients and management ensure our standards are achieved throughout our portfolio of clients.

Jason Baker (ACA)

Financial Director

Jason Baker A.C.A is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and joined Wettons in 1997.

Jason previously worked for 7 years for a Chartered Accountancy Firm based in the city.

Jason fitted into his role as the Financial Director with relative ease. His vested interest within Wetton Cleaning Services has seen him venture out of the office more and more to assist in contract commencement procedures. He also regularly attend client meetings and site visits to ensure the smooth running of contracts.

Jason is also charged with implementing innovations and leading special projects. The majority of these projects have revolved around environmental issues.

John Mitchell

Health & Safety and Environment Manager

John started working for Wettons in 2001. He has been a dedicated Health & Safety professional since 1971 and has added other disciplines to his portfolio throughout his career.

John has a large number of achievements including:

  • Trained as a BICS Assessor, he assists in the retraining of staff when areas do not meet Wettons standards.
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Environmental Management Systems
  • PTS Permit to work in the railway environment

Derek Kavanagh

Quality Monitoring Manager

Derek Kavanagh joined Wettons in 2000.

He frequently visits client sites to do independent audits on quality.

Derek has been trained as a BICS Assessor; he identifies any areas of weakness and carries out the necessary retraining of staff when areas do not meet Wettons quality standards.

Derek manages the companies Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2000.
