Company history

Wetton Cleaning Services Ltd was established in 1949 by Wing Commander Wetton using his war gratuity.

Mr Charles Baker, the current owner, commenced working as a cleaner for Wettons in the 1960's. Mr Baker worked his way through the company to become Managing Director. In the late 70's Mr Baker acquired the company and started to expand its operations.

The company is now operated by four of Mr Baker's children

Karen Baker - Contract Director
Jason Baker (ACA) - Financial Director

Under the current Directors the Company has benefited from organic growth taking the annual turnover from just under £ 4 million to a turnover in excess of £ 20 million.
