Mizuho Bank operates from Bracken House, the former Head Quarters of the Financial Times, located at the heart of The City. The 202,000 square foot building, whilst retaining much of its external façade, was dramatically modernised in the late 1980s to include a stunning interior, incorporating a significant amount of glass from the ground to the 5th floor. The finishes also include natural wood and polished steel so that the overall effect is one of a high quality working environment.
Wettons won this contract following a competitive tender in which London’s leading cleaning contractors were involved. Immediately upon award, a team was allocated to implement the mobilisation phase. It comprised individuals from Wetton’s Training, Operations and Human Resources Departments as well as the Contract Manager nominated for the on-site role. Throughout the 1 month mobilisation period, meetings were held with our Client to ensure that they were updated on all aspects of the service transfer. Additionally, all elements of the TUPE transfer were handled professionally and sympathetically.

The on-site Contract Manager not only attends the site from early morning to ensure that the morning clean is efficiently and effectively completed, but is also present at weekends to oversee the rolling programme of periodic cleaning.
