Case Study: Law Society

The Law Society, founded in 1825, is sited in a prestigious and prominent position in Chancery Lane, London, an important centre for the legal profession in the U.K. The main building occupies approximately 11,908 sq.m. (approx. 128,000 square feet) whilst the interior is a mix of traditional and modern, combining sweeping carpeted stairways and a grand library with modern functional offices. Over the duration of this contract, Wettons has been requested to clean a number of other buildings, also belonging to the Law Society.

Visitors to the Law Society include, judges, barristers and solicitors as well as many other people who have an interest in the practice of law in the U.K. Accordingly, the cleaning standards required at such a prestigious venue are of the very highest levels. Wettons has developed a strong partnership with the client, which has resulted in Wettons retaining the cleaning contract for over 30 years, an exceptional performance by any standards. Not only are the cleaning standards high, but consideration is given to the presentation of our staff. Accordingly, the uniforms of the Day Housekeeping staff are bespoke and are fully in-keeping with the smart attire that is prevalent throughout the building.
